The number of power outages has increased in Ukraine: what is known

Ukrenergo is increasing the volume of predicted power outages in the evening hours for all Ukrainian regions.
This was reported by the company’s press service.
From 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM — the period of maximum energy consumption — hourly outage schedules will be in effect throughout Ukraine.
The restrictions are being imposed due to the consequences of previous attacks by Russian troops on Ukrainian energy facilities. As a result of the shelling, a capacity deficit was recorded in the energy system amid high levels of consumption.
“You can find out the time and duration of power outages at your address on the official pages of the distribution system operator (oblenergo) in your region,” Ukrenergo explained.
They urged consumers to limit the use of powerful electrical appliances in the evening hours as much as possible.
“When electricity appears on schedule, consume it sparingly!” the company advised.
It was previously reported that Ukraine has introduced electricity supply restrictions due to the consequences of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure and increased consumption.
