The number of victims and victims of the Russian strike in Ternopil has increased: days of mourning have been declared in the city

The number of victims and injured in Ternopil has increased again due to a Russian missile strike on high-rise buildings.

This was reported to the State Emergency Service.

Rescue operations are still ongoing at the site of the attack. At present, 25 people are known to have died, including three children.

In addition, 92 people were injured. It is noted that emergency workers rescued 46 people, including 7 children.

Almost 200 rescuers from different regions of Ukraine, more than 50 pieces of equipment, dog handlers, and an unmanned systems unit were involved in eliminating the consequences of the strikes.

It is worth noting that the city council’s website announced the declaration of November 19-21 as days of mourning for the deceased.

“Due to the tragic events, entertainment events have been canceled in the Ternopil city territorial community, and flags will be flown at half-mast at all state institutions. We express our sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and all those who suffered from the attack,” the message says.

As a reminder, on the night of November 19, Russian troops carried out a series of strikes on the western regions of Ukraine , in particular on Ternopil and Lviv regions.

Later, as of 2:00 p.m., law enforcement officials confirmed the deaths of 21 people , including two children. Another 66 were injured, including 16 children.
