The death toll in the capital after a massive Russian combined attack continues to rise. Five people have been confirmed dead in Kyiv so far.
This was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, on his Telegram channel.
According to him, rescue operations are ongoing and data on the victims is being updated.
“According to updated information, the number of people killed in the night strike has increased to five. My sincere condolences to the family and friends,” Tkachenko noted.
The city is still dealing with the aftermath of the massive attack, and people may be trapped under the rubble. Rescuers, medics, and utility services are working at the scene.
As a reminder, on the night of November 14, Kyiv experienced a large-scale combined attack by drones and missiles. The shelling killed one person, injured more than two dozen others, and caused numerous fires and significant destruction in various areas of the capital.
It later became known that three people were killed, 26 residents were injured, and heating networks, houses, and partially public transport were damaged.
