The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the occupation of the settlement of Kalynivske in the Dnipropetrovsk region, however, the Dnipro Military District denied this information.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine.

As Lieutenant Colonel Oleksiy Belsky, spokesman for the Dnipro group, explained, the occupiers’ task is to penetrate the outskirts of the settlement closest to the line of combat contact, unfurl the Russian flag, and shoot a video for “reports” to the Ministry of Defense.

“Thus, the Russians have already “liberated” a dozen settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region. For example, the occupation group of troops “Vostok” on September 22 “liberated” the village of Kalynivske near Novomykolaivka,” he noted.

Ukrainian soldiers promptly respond to enemy actions and destroy them with the help of drones, artillery, or clear them with assault units.

At the same time, the allegedly captured settlements remain under the control of the Defense Forces.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine use active defense tactics in the Dnipropetrovsk region – this is a military tactic that involves not just holding positions, but also the active use of maneuver, strikes, counterattacks, and fire damage to inflict maximum losses on the enemy, as well as to disrupt his offensive,” the lieutenant colonel said.

The Russians currently control five settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region. These are the villages of Novogeorgiivka, Zaporizhske, Sichneve (Yanvarske), Maliivka, and Vorone.

Let us remind you that the Russian occupation army is trying to advance through open terrain into the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region and gain a foothold there.

By the way, the Ukrainian Defense Forces recently liberated the village of Filiya, Dnipropetrovsk region, from Russian troops.
