The occupiers are trying to break through to Kostyantynivka – Ukrainian News Agency “Vostok”

Units of the Defense Forces in eastern Ukraine are holding back active pressure from Russian troops in several directions at once. The most intense fighting continues in the areas of Sloviansk, Kostyantynivka, and Pokrovska.

This was reported by the “East” group of troops.

According to military data, the enemy carried out 14 assaults in the Slavyansk direction alone in a day. Fighting was recorded in the areas of Riznykivka, Zakytne, and Lypivka, as well as in the direction of Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryvaya Luka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian forces stopped one attack near the settlement of Markove. In the Kostyantynivka direction, Russian forces attacked 12 times near a number of settlements near the city.
The report emphasizes that the situation in the Kostyantynivka area remains difficult.

“The invaders are trying to infiltrate the city, using significant reserves and additional firepower,” the “East” group noted.

At the same time, Ukrainian units hold their positions and inflict losses on the enemy, including on logistics, places of concentration of forces, and control points.

The situation remains most tense in the Pokrov direction. There, Ukrainian military repelled 50 assaults in a day.

“Our units are countering the enemy’s attempts to use infiltration tactics and the accumulation of manpower in the inter-position space,” the message says.

According to preliminary data, the losses of Russian troops in the group’s area of responsibility for 24 hours amounted to 271 servicemen. Equipment, shelters, and drone control points were also destroyed and damaged.
Separately, the military notes that one of the priorities remains the destruction of Russian drone operators and their control points.
