The occupiers are trying to enter Kupyansk: what is the situation near the city?

Russian occupation troops are making attempts to enter Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region from the northwest.

This was reported by analysts of the DeepState project.

As noted, Ukrainian soldiers are repelling attacks by enemy assault groups trying to gain a foothold near a gas station on the road from Golubivka towards the private sector.

“The situation is complicated by the fact that the enemy has a large penetration area all the way to Sobolivka. The enemy’s goal is obvious – to stretch the combat formations of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, to implement a wedge and further blockade of the city from the western side,” the analysts explained.

We remind you that over the past 24 hours, on July 26, six clashes took place in the Kupyansk direction , in particular, the enemy attacked near the settlements of Radkivka, Kupyansk, and Zagryzove.
