The overwhelming majority of Ukrainians do not trust Yermak and support his resignation, according to a poll.

65.2% of Ukrainians do not trust the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, and support his resignation.

These survey results were published by Sociopolis . 

At the same time, completely  do not trust the head of the Presidential Office  45.1% of respondents trust him, while 20.1% rather distrust him. 17.9% of respondents trust Andriy Yermak (completely or somewhat), while 5.8% of respondents were undecided.

Since September 2025, the level of trust in Andriy Yermak has decreased – the share of respondents who do not trust him (completely or somewhat) increased from 57.1% to 65.2%, and the share of respondents who trust him decreased from 19.6% to 17.9%. 

The majority of Ukrainians (70.0%) would support the resignation of Andriy Yermak as Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. 22.4% of respondents do not support Yermak’s resignation, and 7.7% of survey participants were undecided. 

Compared to the results of the September 2025 survey, support for Andriy Yermak’s resignation as head of the Office of the President of Ukraine increased from 62.2% to 70%, while the share of those undecided on the issue decreased (from 16.5% to 7.7%). At the same time, the share of respondents who do not support Yermak’s possible resignation remained largely unchanged (21.2% in September 2025 and 22.4% in the second half of November 2025).

70.4% of respondents believe that Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, may be personally involved in corrupt activities involving Timur Mindich, co-founder of the Kvartal 95 studio, ministers, and heads of state-owned companies. According to 15.2% of respondents, Yermak cannot be involved in the aforementioned corrupt activities, and 14.4% of respondents were undecided.

It was previously reported that the overwhelming majority of Ukrainian adults (almost 90%) are aware of the NABU investigation into corruption schemes involving businessman and co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio, Timur Mindich, politicians, ministers, heads of Ukraine’s energy sector, and others. Only 10% had not heard of this investigation.

44.2% of survey participants responded that they had heard quite a lot about the “Mindich tapes” and had an idea of the essence of this case, while 45.8% of respondents had heard something about the aforementioned NABU investigation, but did not have a comprehensive understanding of it.

76.6% of respondents aware of the NABU investigation believe it to be justified, and that the corrupt acts documented during the investigation actually occurred. A significantly smaller number of respondents (15.7%) consider the NABU investigation questionable. 7.7% of respondents were unsure how to assess the NABU investigation.

The public opinion survey “Attitudes of the Ukrainian Population toward Current Sociopolitical Issues (November 18-24, 2025)” was conducted by the Sociopolis Research Company from November 18 to 24, 2025, using CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews). The sample size was 1,007 respondents. The margin of error does not exceed 3.1%.

As a reminder, following Operation Midas, which exposed large-scale corruption at Energoatom and rocked the government, a systematic campaign to discredit NABU and the SAP was launched on Ukrainian Telegram . Anti-corruption agencies called the operation one of the most effective in 2025, but alongside its successes, a wave of identical messages appeared attacking investigators and prosecutors.

On the eve, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy enacted National Security and Defense Council sanctions against Kvartal-95 co-owner Timur Mindich and businessman Alexander Tsukerman, who are linked to a corruption case in the energy sector.

It was previously reported that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office are conducting a large-scale operation, Operation Midas, to expose corruption in the energy sector.
