The period of bitter cold is receding: what will the weather be like in Ukraine on February 10

In Ukraine, the period of severe frosts that have persisted over the past few days is expected to end next night. A gradual increase in air temperature is forecast in most regions as early as February 10.

This is reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.

According to her, on the night of February 10, the air temperature will be -12-20 degrees, and in the northern regions a drop to -22 degrees is possible. At the same time, during the day, -4-11 degrees are expected in most regions, -2-4 degrees in the south and west of the country, and in Transcarpathia the temperature may rise to +2 degrees.

“On the night of February 10, the air temperature in Ukraine is expected to be -12-20, in the north up to -22 degrees,” Natalka Didenko reported.

The forecaster noted that the wind will be predominantly southerly and moderate, and strong gusts are possible in the western regions. Due to the influence of the anticyclone, significant precipitation is not forecast, only light wet snow is possible in Transcarpathia.

She also drew attention to the weather conditions in the capital. According to the forecast, the temperature in Kyiv may drop to -20 degrees Celsius next night, but dry and sunny weather is expected in the afternoon with a temperature of about -10 degrees Celsius. In the afternoon, the southerly wind is forecast to increase.

“The era of severe frosts is finally ending in Kyiv,” noted Natalka Didenko.

According to her, a gradual increase in air temperature is forecast in Ukraine in the future, although individual fluctuations in cold weather are still possible.
