The plant of the Polish company Cersanit in the Zhytomyr region completely stopped work after the Russian attack

The Cersanit Invest plant in Zvyahel, Zhytomyr region, has completely stopped operations after a Russian drone attack. The plant has suffered serious damage, and it may take at least 6 months to resume production.
This was reported by the Cersanit press service .
During the attack, there were employees at the enterprise, who were evacuated in time. There were no injuries.
The company noted that the impact damaged key elements of the ceramic tile production cycle. Given the current state of the enterprise, resuming production and its further operation are impossible.
Cersanit is currently conducting a detailed assessment of the extent of destruction and damage.
“Based on a preliminary assessment, Cersanit assumes that the restoration of the plant’s production capacity will take at least six months,” the company said in a statement.
The enterprise in Zvyahel is one of the largest manufacturers of ceramic tiles and sanitary ware in Ukraine. The plant manufactures products under the Cersanit and Opoczno brands, and also produces ceramic and acrylic sanitary ware.
By the way, on the night of September 12 , Russian troops launched missile strikes on the industrial enterprises “ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih” and “Zaporizhstal” . As a result of the attacks on “ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih”, 2 employees of contracting organizations were killed, 2 more were injured, and 4 employees were injured at “Zaporizhstal”.
