The President announced the key topics of the negotiations between Ukraine and the United States

During negotiations with the American delegation on February 26 in Geneva, they will discuss not only the end of the war, but also economic cooperation with the United States.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a joint press conference with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.

“This morning I had a briefing from Rustem Umerov. He is on his way to Switzerland. Tomorrow there will be a bilateral meeting between the Ukrainian and American sides. They will prepare an economic document. In parallel, we are working on a 20-point plan, security guarantees, and a prosperity package. Our economic group is with him,” the president said.

Zelensky added that during tomorrow’s negotiations they will talk about the sequence of steps to end the war, but the issue of territories, in his opinion, will remain open.

“I’m not sure that tomorrow we will have a clear result regarding land, territory, for example, because I will repeat these issues again and again, in my opinion, they should reach the level of leaders,” Zelenskyy summed up.

As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that tomorrow, February 26, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov will meet with US representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
