The President appointed temporary heads of the Kyiv and Mykolaiv OVAs

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed temporary acting heads of the Kyiv and Mykolaiv regional military administrations.

This was reported by the press service of the President’s Office.

According to the decrees of the head of state, Ruslan Oliynyk was appointed acting head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, and Georgy Reshetilov was appointed acting head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

The president signed both decrees on July 16, 2026.

The new appointments came after the previous regional leaders, Ruslan Kalashnyk and Vitaliy Kim , moved to work in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Kalashnyk headed the Ministry of Reconstruction, Infrastructure and Transport, and Kim became Minister of Veterans Affairs.

Earlier this day , the Verkhovna Rada approved the new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, after which the president signed a number of decrees related to personnel changes in state authorities.
