Prosecutor General’s Office Denies Allegations of Suspicion Against NABU Chief

The Prosecutor General’s Office has denied reports that one of the heads of Ukraine’s anti-corruption agencies was served with a notice of suspicion. The UCP stressed that no one involved in the criminal proceedings has been notified of suspicion.
The Prosecutor General’s Office reported this.
The UCP noted that there are no legal grounds for reporting the suspicion, and the information about the alleged suspicion is untrue.
The Prosecutor General’s Office also reported that the relevant suspicion marks in the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations have been canceled.
We will remind you that on September 14, Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko announced that he had signed a notice of suspicion against NABU Director Semen Kryvonos.
After that, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed to the Verkhovna Rada to immediately support the resignation of Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko.
The Anti-Corruption Center announced that Kravchenko had left Ukraine. He said he was outside Ukraine on a business trip.
It later became known that Kravchenko went on a five-day business trip to Paris. The purpose of the trip was stated to be participation in a hearing of the PACE parliamentary network.
