The Prosecutor General’s Office is initiating an investigation into seven employees from Krapiva’s entourage.

The Prosecutor General’s Office is preparing a request to the Qualification and Disciplinary Commission of Prosecutors to conduct internal investigations against seven employees who are part of the entourage of the Deputy Head of the Department of International Legal Cooperation, Serhiy Krapiva.

Krapiva was previously detained by NABU detectives in connection with a case involving fraudulent call centers.

Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko announced this to journalists on Monday, Ukrinform reports.

According to the Prosecutor General, a prosecutor’s dismissal is possible after a court decision finding them guilty of a criminal offense comes into force. At the same time, disciplinary measures may be applied through the Qualification and Disciplinary Commission of Prosecutors.

“An appeal to the State Committee on Public Prosecutions will be signed today. All official investigations have already been scheduled, and documents for this unit’s polygraph examination are being prepared,” Kravchenko stated.

He clarified that documents are being prepared for the State Committee on State Control and Public Prosecutions regarding Krapiva himself and six other employees from his entourage. In total, the investigation will involve seven prosecutors.
