The Verkhovna Rada plans to adopt an amendment that will effectively subordinate NABU to the Prosecutor General and allow its cases to be transferred to other bodies during martial law.
MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this.
According to him, they want to make changes through bill No. 12414. They assume that SAP prosecutors will be controlled by the Prosecutor General, who will also be able to take over NABU proceedings and transfer them to other prosecutors, removing the ban on such actions.
“In short, they are resetting NABU and SAP,” the parliamentarian concluded.
Let us recall that the Security Service of Ukraine came to the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) this morning without official warning to check compliance with the legislation on state secrets.
Earlier, the SBU conducted searches at the homes of NABU detectives .
