The Verkhovna Rada supported the dismissal of Ruslan Kravchenko from the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine. 317 people’s deputies voted for the relevant decision.

This was reported in the Verkhovna Rada.

The Parliament supported Resolution No. 16064 on the dismissal of Ruslan Kravchenko from the position of Prosecutor General.

The day before, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy removed Kravchenko from the post of Prosecutor General .

Before that, Kravchenko said that he had signed a notice of suspicion to NABU Director Semen Kryvonos . NABU stated that Kryvonos had not been officially served with suspicion, and called the Prosecutor General’s actions a continuation of a systemic attack on anti-corruption agencies.

Later, the Prosecutor General’s Office denied the information about reporting suspicions to the head of NABU . They reported that the corresponding marks in the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations had been canceled.

Also on September 14, it became known that Kravchenko went on a five-day business trip to Paris . The purpose of the trip was stated to be participation in a hearing of the PACE parliamentary network.
