The Verkhovna Rada has registered a bill that is intended to change the rules of work for employees of territorial recruitment centers (TCC). It concerns the mandatory identification of military personnel during mobilization events.

This is evidenced by draft law No. 15176.

The document proposes to oblige CCC employees to wear individual badges with a number. This is necessary so that people can clearly understand that they are dealing with an official representative, not an outsider.

The authors of the bill explain that there is a problem now: cases have become more frequent when people in military uniform without identification marks pose as CCC employees.

“One of the most pressing problems is cases when individuals in uniform without insignia pose as TCC servicemen,” the explanatory note states.

The Council believes that the lack of clear identification undermines trust in the CCC and creates tension in society.

“Citizens cannot quickly distinguish between genuine military personnel and those acting illegally,” the authors emphasize.

In addition to tokens, the bill also provides for other rules. In particular, when applying, a CCC employee must state their last name, position, and show their official ID upon request.

At the same time, the document prohibits hiding the token or preventing a person from being able to view it or capture it in a photo or video.

It is expected that such changes will help reduce abuses and increase trust in mobilization processes.

Recall that Ukraine is preparing a large-scale mobilization reform , which involves changing approaches to persons wanted by territorial recruitment centers.

As reported, as part of the mobilization reform , territorial recruitment centers may disappear, and another structure will be created in their place.
