The Cabinet of Ministers held its first meeting with a renewed composition. Each minister will develop a specific action plan in his or her field.
This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko.
“The first meeting of the new government was held immediately after the vote in parliament. Each minister must determine a specific action plan as soon as possible. No abstractions,” the head of government wrote.
Svyridenko said that the ministries’ plans will be presented publicly. They will also be discussed with the relevant committees of the Verkhovna Rada. After the discussions, the ministers will report regularly.
“I have positive experience of cooperation with the economic committee and am convinced that the same constructive interaction is possible in other areas,” the Prime Minister noted.
She also drew attention to the fact that the new government has one of the smallest number of ministers in the entire history of Ukraine.
Earlier, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko stated that the government led by her is taking a course towards military, economic, and social self-sufficiency .
It is worth recalling that on Thursday, July 17, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved the appointment of Yulia Svyridenko as Prime Minister of Ukraine .
