The Russian army attacked DTEK thermal power plants: damaged equipment

On the night of October 10, Russian occupiers attacked thermal power plants of the DTEK Group.
The press service of DTEK reported this.
“Russia attacked DTEK thermal power plants. The power plant equipment was seriously damaged. We are working to eliminate the consequences,” the statement said.
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, DTEK thermal power plants have been shelled more than 200 times.
As a reminder, the overnight strike on Kyiv caused significant damage to critical infrastructure and residential buildings . Part of the capital was left without power and water, and the number of civilian casualties reached 12.
As reported, serious power outages have been reported in the capital since the morning of October 10. Due to strikes on critical infrastructure, Kyiv’s left bank remains without power, and subway service is partially limited.
