The Russian army attacked energy infrastructure: power outages were recorded in five regions

Russian forces continue to attack Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. As a result of the morning shelling, consumers in Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions were left without electricity.
This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo.
According to the company, as of 09:30 on July 24, electricity consumption was 1.6% higher than at the same time the previous day. The reason was cloudy skies in most regions, which reduced the efficiency of household solar power plants and increased the load on the general power system.
Ukrenergo recommends using energy-intensive electrical appliances between 11:00 and 15:00, when industrial solar power plants produce the most electricity.
In particular, energy workers are carrying out emergency restoration work where the security situation allows, and assure that they are doing everything possible to restore power supply to consumers as soon as possible.
