Russian occupiers have carried out six attacks on Naftogaz infrastructure this week, the last attack occurring on the night of January 17.
This was announced by Serhiy Koretsky, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
“This week alone, the enemy has attacked various facilities of the Naftogaz Group six times. Tonight, another strike on the equipment that ensures the production of natural gas. Fortunately, there are no casualties. Specialists are working on site to assess the extent of the damage,” Koretsky wrote.
He emphasized that constant attacks on gas infrastructure have consequences for production, which Naftogaz is forced to compensate for by increasing import volumes.
“Taking advantage of abnormal weather conditions, the enemy is intensifying attacks on civilian infrastructure, trying to deprive us of heat and create unbearable living conditions. All Naftogaz services are working in an intensified mode,” Koretsky added.
Recall that the Russian occupiers struck infrastructure facilities in the Odessa region.
