On the night of March 26, Russian troops attacked the Izmail district of the Odessa region, resulting in damage to port and energy infrastructure.
This was reported by the Izmail District State Administration.
According to preliminary data, the strikes hit two locations: the city of Izmail and the Vilkovo community. The attack also damaged civilian infrastructure and caused fires.
The State Emergency Service clarified that one person was injured.
Oleg Kiper, head of the Odesa Special Operations Command, reported that power outages have been reported in some settlements due to the shelling. Critical infrastructure has been switched to backup power sources, and restoration work is ongoing.
Rescuers worked simultaneously at several locations, but their work was complicated by air raid siren calls.
In total, on the night of March 26, Russia launched 153 attack drones of various types at Ukraine, including Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas.
By morning, air defense forces had destroyed or suppressed 130 hostile targets. At the same time, 16 hits were recorded at 11 locations, as well as debris falls at five more.
