The Russian army attacked Ukraine with 80 drones: how the air defense system performed

On the night of November 5, Russian infidels carried out another large-scale drone attack on Ukrainian territory.

The Air Force Command press service reported this.

“On the night of November 5 (from 7:00 PM on November 4), the enemy launched an attack with 80 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of UAVs in the following directions: Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia; approximately 50 of them were Shaheds. According to preliminary data, 61 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of UAVs were shot down or suppressed in the north, south, and east of the country,” the statement reads.

It is noted that 18 attack UAVs were hit at 7 locations, as well as the fall of downed ones (debris) at 2 locations.

The air attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the Air Force reported.

As a reminder, as of the morning of November 5, Russia has lost approximately 1,145,670 troops since the beginning of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The enemy’s casualties in the past 24 hours have reached 900.
