The Russian army attacked Ukraine with almost a hundred drones: how the air defense worked

On the night of November 23, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with 98 strike drones of various types. There are 27 strike drones hit at 12 locations.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Since 19:00 on Saturday, November 22, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 98 Shahed, Gerbera and other types of attack UAVs from the following directions: Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation) and Chauda (Crimea). About 60 of the UAVs were Shahed.
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30 on Sunday, November 23, the air defense had shot down/suppressed 69 drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
27 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 12 locations.
The attack is ongoing, there are several enemy drones in the airspace.
