The Russian army attacked Ukraine with drones from various directions: how many were neutralized by air defense systems

As of 09:00, air defenses shot down/suppressed 72 enemy Shahed, Gerber and other types of drones in the north, south and east of the country.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

“On the night of October 24, the enemy attacked with 128 Shahed, Gerbera and other types of attack UAVs in the following directions: Kursk, Millerovo, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russian Federation, Chauda, Gvardeyskoye, Territorial Territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, about 90 of which were Shaheds,” it says.

It is noted that the air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 AM, air defenses have shot down or suppressed 72 enemy drones in the north, south, and east of the country. 47 attack drones were hit at 10 locations.

“The attack is ongoing, and there are several enemy drones in the airspace. Observe safety regulations,” the defenders added.
