The Russian army is trying to force the Seversky Donets in the Slavic direction: what is known about the situation on the front

The situation in the Dronivka area on the Slavyansk direction is escalating daily due to the accumulation of Russian reserves and attempts to advance. The enemy is also trying to cross the Seversky Donets River, and Ukrainian paratroopers are restraining his actions and have captured a prisoner.

This is reported by the 81st separate airmobile Slobozhansk brigade.

In the Dronivka area on the Slavyansk direction, Russia is constantly accumulating reserves in the Siversk area. The enemy is also deploying deployment points in the Serebryansk forestry.

At the same time, Russia continues to use the tactic of infiltrating the inter-position space of the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade of the 7th Corps of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

In addition, the enemy is trying to cross the Seversky Donets River on rubber boats in the coastal area of Dronivka and Platovka. In the future, it is planned to use this for sabotage and assault operations in the rear of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Thanks to the coordinated actions of the paratroopers, it is possible to restrain the enemy’s attempts to advance.

Recently, paratroopers captured a Russian who spoke about one of the enemy’s new priority immediate targets in the Slavyansk direction. According to him, the enemy plans to advance to Zakitne and Kryvaya Luka.

In the area of these settlements there are dominant heights that the enemy could use as a bridgehead for regular shelling of Sloviansk, Lyman, and Mykolaivka.

It was previously reported that Russian troops continued offensive operations along almost the entire front line, focusing their main efforts on the Kupyansk direction and in the Donetsk region . At the same time, no confirmed tactical successes were recorded in most areas.

We would like to remind you that in the North Slobozhansk direction, in the area of responsibility of the 78th separate airborne assault brigade, the enemy is trying to create a bridgehead for a further offensive . All such attempts are detected and thwarted in a timely manner, and the threat of advancing to Sumy is not allowed.
