The Russian army massively attacked Kyiv and the Dnipro: what is known about the consequences
On the night of Thursday, February 12, Russia carried out a combined missile and drone attack on several regions of Ukraine. Kyiv and the Dnipropetrovsk region were hit. The attack resulted in injuries and destruction.
This was reported by the mayor of Dnipropetrovsk, Vitali Klitschko, and the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Ganzha.
Two people were injured in the capital.
As Vitaliy Klitschko reported, one of them was taken to the hospital in serious condition, the other was provided with assistance on the spot without hospitalization. As of 7:30 a.m., it is known that the injured are a man and a woman.
According to the National Police, Russian troops targeted the Left Bank of Kyiv last night. In the Darnytskyi district, drone debris damaged the facade of a high-rise building, and in one of the apartments on the top floor, explosives technicians seized a drone’s jet engine.
Dnipro also suffered a massive attack. As Oleksandr Ganzha reported, at night the enemy attacked the city and the region with missiles and drones. Four people were injured as a result of the strikes. Among them is a baby who is not even a month old: the boy was hospitalized, his condition is assessed by doctors as moderate.
Several fires broke out in Dnipro due to shelling. Infrastructure, private homes, and cars were damaged.
Russian UAVs also attacked the Rozdorska and Vasylkivska communities in the Synelnyky district, where damage was recorded to infrastructure and a kindergarten. In the Nikopol district, Russian troops shelled the Nikopol, Chervonogryhorivska, and Pokrovska communities with artillery and used FPV drones.
Information on the extent of the damage is being clarified.
