The Russian army massively attacked Kyiv: there are dead, dozens injured
On the night of Tuesday, June 2, Russian occupation forces launched a massive attack on Kyiv. As a result of the shelling, damage was recorded in several areas of the capital, there were deaths and dozens of injuries.
This was announced by the city mayor Vitali Klitschko.
According to him, as of this morning, four people were killed and 58 injured.
“58 injured in the capital. Of them, 40 were hospitalized by doctors, including two children. Four people died,” Klitschko noted.
The attack resulted in fires in residential buildings, a gas station, non-residential premises, and construction sites. The most damage was recorded in the Podilskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Solomyanskyi, and Svyatoshynskyi districts.
In the Holosiivskyi district, the floors of a polyclinic were damaged, and in the Podilskyi district, the structures of a residential building partially collapsed after being hit again by a rocket.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, reported that in the Podilskyi district, cars caught fire due to the attack, and rocket fragments fell on the roof of one of the houses.
“There was a fire and the windows were broken,” he said.
Rescuers, medics, and other emergency services continue to work at the scene of the attacks.
