The Russian army massively attacked the Kyiv region: there are dead and wounded, fires broke out at the scene of the attack

On the night of June 23, the Kyiv region suffered another massive missile and drone strike from Russia. The Buchansky and Bila Tserkva districts were the most affected. As a result of the shelling of residential and industrial facilities, large-scale fires broke out, there were civilian casualties and injuries, including rescue workers.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
According to updated data, at least one person was killed and eight others were injured. Among them were two emergency workers who were injured during the second shelling while they were cleaning up the aftermath of the first strike.
The most serious consequences were recorded in the city of Bila Tserkva. A Russian missile hit a two-story hotel building, on the first floor of which there is a private medical facility. The building was engulfed in a large-scale fire covering an area of about 1,500 square meters.
Rescuers quickly evacuated six seriously ill patients, avoiding casualties among medical staff and patients. Firefighting efforts continued throughout the night. At the same time, fires are being extinguished in the private residential sector at several addresses in the city.
From the first minutes after the explosions, emergency services have been working on the scene, and emergency rescue teams have been formed. Engineering equipment, climbers, and medics are involved in the work. The situation remains tense, and information on the number of victims and the extent of the damage is being clarified.
Fires and destruction were also recorded in the Buchanan district, the nature of which is still being clarified.
As is known, on the night of June 23, Kyiv again came under massive Russian attack . The enemy used both strike drones and ballistic missiles. At least six people were killed and another 19 were injured as a result of the shelling. Numerous destruction of buildings, fires, collapse of structures, and burning cars were recorded in six districts of the capital.
