Russian troops have captured the village of Popiv Yar in the Donetsk region and Ivano-Daryivka in the Siverskyi direction. Ukrainian units continue counterattacks.
This was reported by the Joint Headquarters of the Dnipro Group of Forces.
According to the headquarters, the enemy has pushed Ukrainian military out of Popovy Yar and is trying to expand the controlled territory near Novy Shakhovy, intensifying the offensive in the direction of Ivanivka.
In the Siversky direction, the enemy conducted offensive operations near Hryhorivka, Pereiznye, Fedorivka, and Serebryanka, but most of the attacks were unsuccessful. At the same time, Russian forces managed to occupy Ivano-Daryivka.
Ukrainian troops continue to conduct counterattacks to stop the enemy’s advance.
As a reminder, Russian troops occupied the village of Hrushivske in the Donetsk region and advanced near Voskresenka, Horikhovoe, Mayak, and Zatyshko.
