The Russian army struck Kherson: one person was killed and one was wounded

Russian occupation forces attacked Kherson. A man died as a result of the shelling.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

“On March 5, 2026, at around 07:30, servicemen of the Russian army carried out artillery shelling of Kherson,” the post says.

A 79-year-old man who was inside the house was killed as a result of the shelling.

Under the procedural leadership of the Kherson District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated into the fact of committing a war crime that caused the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Prosecutors, together with police investigators, carry out the necessary investigative and procedural actions to record evidence and document war crimes committed by the Russian military.

The Kherson OVA reported that there were injuries as a result of the strikes, and cars were also on fire.

At around 10:30 a.m., Russian military drones attacked civilian transport in the center of Kherson. After the drone dropped explosives, three cars burned and another was damaged.

It later became known that a 70-year-old woman was injured in the attack. She sought medical attention on her own and was diagnosed with a blast injury and concussion.

Let us remind you that the Russian occupation army attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region , in particular, Kryvyi Rih came under massive attack.
