The Russian army struck Odessa: there are wounded, including children

In Odessa, as a result of a night attack by Russian troops, fires were recorded in residential buildings and the destruction of civilian cars. The city’s infrastructure was damaged, and there were injuries, including children.

The head of the Odessa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, and the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Kiper, reported on the consequences of the shelling.

According to Lysak, the strikes hit two areas of the city. Hostile hits were recorded in multi-story buildings, fires broke out in several apartments. The fire also spread to cars parked nearby.

Four people were injured in the attack. Three of them are children: a seven-month-old baby, an eight-year-old girl, and a 14-year-old boy are in moderate condition. Another victim, a 42-year-old man, is hospitalized in serious condition. All the injured are receiving necessary medical care.

Oleg Kiper clarified that the facades and windows of several residential high-rise buildings were damaged due to direct hits and falling debris. Apartments in one of the buildings caught fire, and civilian vehicles also burned down.

Rescuers, emergency services, and utility crews are working at the scene of the attacks. Residents of the affected buildings are being provided with assistance, and the consequences of the shelling are being eliminated.
