The Russian Defense Forces confirmed the strike on the Ryazan Oil Refinery and the destruction of several important Russian military targets.
Ukrainian defense forces launched a successful strike on the Ryazan Oil Refinery in Russia, as well as hitting the Nebo-U radar station, a military train, and several areas where occupying forces were holding personnel.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
The Ryazan Oil Refinery is a key component of Russia’s military-industrial infrastructure. Its products include A-92/95/98/100 gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, liquefied gases, and other petroleum products. The plant produces approximately 840,000 tons of TS-1 aviation kerosene annually, which is used, among other things, by the Russian Aerospace Forces.
As a result of the strike, multiple explosions and a large-scale fire were recorded on the territory of the enterprise.
In addition, Ukrainian defenders:
-
hit the Nebo-U radar in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea;
-
destroyed a military train in the area of captured Tokmak in Zaporozhye;
-
struck a concentration of occupying forces near Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region.
The General Staff noted that the results are being clarified.
It was previously reported that Russia had begun recruiting reservists to protect oil refineries and other critical facilities from drone attacks.
As a reminder, on the night of November 5, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a base for storing, assembling, and launching Shahed-type UAVs in temporarily occupied Donetsk , as well as the Volgograd Oil Refinery.
