The Russian Federation is trying to cut off the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Konstantinivka direction

The Russian army in the Kostyantynivka direction is trying to cut off the logistical routes of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and advance towards the city in small groups. The occupiers are using the weather conditions and fog to approach Kostyantynivka unnoticed.

This is reported by the 4th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade.

The head of the brigade’s communications department, Anastasia Khaletska, spoke about the situation on Espresso. According to her, the enemy is indeed trying to take control of Ukrainian logistics, but is currently focusing on actions by small groups near the city and its surroundings.

Khaletska noted that Russian units are taking advantage of the foggy weather in Donbas and trying to infiltrate forward. She emphasized that this tactic is not new and has already been used by the enemy in other directions.

The brigade representative also emphasized that fighting in urban areas is always difficult. According to her, the city creates a completely different specifics of combat operations for both defense and offense, so this factor plays a key role in planning operations.

It was previously reported that Russian occupation forces will involve animals in assaults on the front. In particular, Ukrainian military personnel recorded how the Russian army uses horses.

Let us remind you that the situation on the front near the city of Siversk in the Donetsk region is extremely difficult, the Russians are seeking to create a bridgehead in the Slavyansk direction for further advancement.
