The Russian Federation massively attacked Zaporizhia and Poltava regions: there are dead and wounded

On the night of Tuesday, March 24, Russian occupation forces massively attacked Zaporizhia and Poltava regions with missiles and strike drones. The shelling resulted in casualties, injuries, and significant destruction.

This was announced by the head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA Ivan Fedorov and the head of the Poltava OVA Vitaliy Dyakivnych.

In Zaporizhia after 02:30, explosions were heard, fires broke out, and residential buildings and infrastructure were hit. Initially, there were reports of injuries, but later it became known that one person died and five others were injured as a result of the attack. At least six apartment buildings, two private buildings, a shop, and an industrial facility were damaged in the city.

Almost simultaneously, the Poltava region was hit. In the Poltava community, residential buildings and a hotel were damaged, and fires broke out. According to preliminary data, two people died, eleven more were injured, including a child.

Rescuers and medics are working on the scene, providing necessary assistance to the victims, and the extent of the damage is being determined.

As reported, in the Odessa region, during a massive attack , a Russian drone hit a public transport stop, causing injuries.
