On the night of September 22, Russia launched at least five ballistic missile strikes on an oil and gas complex in Poltava Oblast. The facility had been out of service for a long time due to previous Russian attacks.
This was reported by the Naftogaz Group.
According to the company, the missiles hit technological facilities whose equipment had been disabled after previous strikes.
“This facility has been subjected to Russian attacks dozens of times since 2022, both with drones and missiles, and its equipment has been out of order for a long time,” Naftogaz said.
The company emphasized that after the current attack, the destruction has become so serious that further restoration and operation of the facility is virtually impossible.
On the night of September 22, Russian troops attacked the Poltava region in waves. In the Kremenchuk district, an industrial enterprise and a critical infrastructure facility were hit.
