The Russians destroyed a high-speed train with a massive strike: Ukrzaliznytsia has already restored routes

On the night of August 28, a Russian missile attack damaged railway infrastructure in several regions of Ukraine. The Darnytsia TPS technical passenger station in Kyiv, a service point for Intercity high-speed trains, was hit. One of the trains located on the station’s territory was completely burned down.

At the same time, the enemy attacked the railway junction in the city of Kozyatyn in Vinnytsia region. However, in the morning, JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” reported the full restoration of the infrastructure on this section. Thanks to the coordinated work of repair crews, all trains heading towards Vinnytsia, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil and Odessa are returning to their usual route – without the need for detours.

At the same time, the company notes that on one of the sections, traffic is carried out using reserve diesel locomotives – full restoration on this section is still ongoing.

As a reminder, on the night of August 28, Kyiv was subjected to one of the largest attacks in recent months. Russian troops simultaneously used strike drones, ballistic and cruise missiles, which led to large-scale destruction in several areas of the city. By morning, it was reported that four people had died, including two children, and more than two dozen people were injured.

As reported, the civilian infrastructure of the Darnytsia district of the capital was seriously damaged as a result of a nighttime missile attack by Russian troops. As Interior Minister Igor Klymenko reported during a telethon, at least three bodies may be under the rubble of a destroyed building on Boryspilska Street.

By the way, after the night attack, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy publicly addressed countries that had previously called for peace but are now avoiding a clear position . These include China and Hungary.
