The Russians’ failed plan: Ukrainian military ousts occupiers from Sumy region

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct active combat operations in the Sumy region, displacing Russian army troops.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to him, Ukrainian defenders are blocking the occupiers’ attempts to advance from the border into the region.

Zelenskyy emphasized that, despite the fact that the Sumy direction is one of the priorities for the enemy, the Defense Forces managed to thwart the Russians’ plans for the region.

“There are also results in replenishing the exchange fund for Ukraine in a week. We continue to operate on Russian territory,” he added.

We will remind you that recently the 225th Separate Assault Battalion liberated the settlement of Kindrativka, located in Sumy Oblast, from Russian occupiers .

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that enemy troops had not achieved their goal in the Sumy region .
