The SBU’s “Alpha” special forces struck the Vtorovo and Lobkovo oil pumping stations in the Vladimir region of the Russian Federation. The distance to the targets is about 700 km.

This was reported by the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine .

According to the SBU, one of the stations provides pumping of diesel fuel to the Moscow Ring Oil Products Pipeline, as well as transportation of oil products for export to ports on the Baltic Sea, in particular through the port of Primorsk.

According to NASA FIRMS data, thermal anomalies have been recorded in the areas where both oil pumping stations are located, which may indicate fires.

In addition, local authorities confirmed that fires broke out at two infrastructure facilities after SBU drone strikes.

The SBU emphasizes that the destruction of such facilities is of strategic importance, as they are important links in the Russian Federation’s fuel logistics. Strikes on oil pumping stations disrupt the operation of the fuel infrastructure, complicate the supply of fuel to industrial centers and military facilities, and also negatively affect the export of petroleum products.

In particular, such attacks reduce Russia’s resource potential and reduce the revenues used to finance the war against Ukraine.

Previously, “Pryamiy” reported that Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo drones had hit a military plant in Cheboksary, which supplied the Russian army with components for missiles and drones.

The Russian army also lost the ability to use the Mariupol seaport after a large-scale operation by Ukrainian forces.
