The SBU explained why Lviv officials are being searched

The Security Service of Ukraine is investigating possible illegal activities of some officials of the Lviv City Council.
This was stated by the press service of the USBU in the Lviv region in a comment to “Ukrainian Pravda”.
It is noted that authorized searches are being conducted in conjunction with the regional prosecutor’s office at the premises of the city council and a subordinate municipal enterprise.
The special service emphasized that all actions are taking place within the framework of the law and criminal proceedings under Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which concerns obstruction of the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations. They promise to publish details later.
As reported, on Thursday, March 12, the Security Service is conducting investigative actions in one of the departments of the Lviv City Council.
