The SBU has been conducting searches at Kyivteploenergo for two days in a row: the company’s work is paralyzed

The Security Service of Ukraine has been conducting searches at the head office of Kyivteploenergo for two days in a row.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.

“On February 12 and 13, representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine, based on a single ruling by an investigating judge, twice came to the head office of the Kyivteploenergo municipal enterprise with searches, which is a gross procedural violation,” the administration emphasized.

It is noted that such actions paralyzed the work of the company, whose employees were assessing and eliminating the consequences of the hits after the Russian attack, and the regular coordination of the activities of personnel and structural units was disrupted.

According to the Kyiv City State Administration, Security Service officers seized documents related to the heating season, copies of technical documentation on the restoration of damaged facilities and the connection of new cogeneration units.

“Such disregard by law enforcement officers for the safety of the entire city and its residents and deliberate slowing down of the process of returning heat is regarded by the company as deliberate political pressure. But this time, not only energy workers, but also hundreds of thousands of Kyiv families who are freezing in their apartments have become its hostages,” the report says.

As the press service of the capital’s administration noted, this is the 103rd procedural action at the enterprise since the start of the full-scale war.

The Security Service, for its part, has not yet made any public comments about the searches.
