The shameful trial of Oleksandr Pohrebysky for slander by the traitorous People’s Deputy Voloshyn from the OPZH has been going on for 6 years.

For 6 years, the shameful “trial” in the Pechersk court against the officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, deputy of the Kyiv City Council from the “EU” Oleksandr Pohrebyskyi has been ongoing for slander by the former traitorous people’s deputy from the OPZZH Voloshyn, who fled Ukraine long ago.

“This is just some kind of clowning! I still have a case against the traitor Voloshyn. It’s been 6 years now. Where the prosecutor’s office is trying to accuse me of attacking the statesman Voloshyn from the OPZZH (the events of 2020), a case to which I have no connection,” Pogrebysky wrote on social media .

“During this time, Voloshyn fled to Belarus two weeks before the full-scale invasion, from which side Russian troops entered Kyiv in 2022. During this time, Voloshyn lost the status of a people’s deputy. During this time, Voloshyn was suspected of treason, and the same court (Pechersk) is considering the case of Voloshyn’s treason,” the military man was indignant.

“I arranged my vacation in such a way as to get to the meeting I was summoned to today, because last time the prosecutor did not appear (without good reason, which is officially recorded) and the meeting was postponed to today. Today, my lawyer and I arrived, the prosecutor did not appear again, and when the lawyer contacted the court secretariat, they informed me that the meeting was postponed, but only the prosecutor was notified,” writes Oleksandr Pohrebysky.

“Really, why should a combat officer be notified about the postponement of the hearing? The prosecutor is informed and that’s enough. Why should the lawyer know about it, he has no more cases. This is just some kind of bacchanalia, not the judicial system!”, Pogrebyskyi is indignant.

The leader of the veteran organization “Res_Publika. Brothers in Arms” named after Hlib Babich, Oleksandr Pohrebysky, joined the organization of a territorial defense battalion at the party office on February 24. Pohrebysky participated in the defense of the capital and the evacuation of residents of Irpin, was one of the first to enter Bucha, which had just been liberated from the occupiers, and showed gruesome footage of the plundered town.

“We were among the first to arrive with the patrol police. I filmed that video of civilians being shot on the road, which the whole world saw, on my phone from my car. It was just horror… It’s been the hardest thing for me since 2014. I’ve seen a lot, but Bucha will remain in my memory for the rest of my life. These shot civilians… We found murdered activist boys nearby in unfinished buildings. They were mocked. One of them had his eyes gouged out, his nose cut off and he was shot. They were just inhuman,” the soldier said in an interview with the Censor.NET publication.

After the liberation of the Kyiv region, Oleksandr Pogrebysky continued his service in the 46th Brigade of the Airborne Assault Troops, which participated in the battles for the liberation of the Kherson region and in the Donbas in the Bakhmut area and defended Soledar. He received concussions and wounds in the battles. In August 2024, Oleksandr Pogrebysky became the commander of the KARA unmanned systems battalion of the 53rd Motorized Rifle Brigade. In December 2024, Oleksandr Pogrebysky was awarded the Silver Cross. He is currently performing tasks in other areas.

Despite the fact that Oleksandr Pohrebysky is fighting, the criminal case for defamation of traitor Oleg Voloshyn is still open. As is known, on July 21, 2020, Oleksandr Pohrebysky became an accidental witness to an incident near the Verkhovna Rada when People’s Deputy Voloshyn was doused with green paint from the parliament rostrum as a sign of protest against his anti-Ukrainian statements .

For slander Voloshyn, Oleksandr Pohrebysky was detained by security forces . The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv released him on personal guarantees from the leader of the “EU” Petro Poroshenko and the people’s deputies. All these years, the consideration of the case was delayed due to the constant failure to appear in court by Voloshyn and his representatives.

“The rhetoric and theses that are being carried by representatives of the OPZZH, people’s deputies and Voloshyn are hostile to state sovereignty, the independence of our state. And, of course, this is political pressure on their political opponents,” Pogrebyskyi said after another disrupted court session.

The HONEST Movement reported that the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the People’s Party of Ukraine now lives in Belarus with his family.

On September 14, 2022, the Pechersk court sent another summons to Oleksandr Pohrebysky , who was undergoing treatment after a combat injury at the front. The court is constantly delaying the consideration of the case.

“Let me remind you that the court regularly summons me in the case for attacking the “statesman” Voloshyn! Just think for a second, I have already managed to get two serious concussions, be surrounded, form a company, a battalion, and Voloshyn enjoys life in Belarus, regularly pours mud on Ukraine on Russian channels!”, – the military man was indignant at the time. “I will not be surprised if after the victory he returns and tells how he fought behind enemy lines and how difficult it was for him,” – noted Oleksandr Pogrebysky.
