The situation is critical: GUR active operations units were sent to Pokrovsk for assistance

Due to the critical situation in Pokrovsk, Donetsk Oblast, special forces from the Main Intelligence Directorate were sent there.

This was reported by war correspondent Andriy Tsaplienko.

GUR units have already arrived in the Pokrovsky direction with the aim of saving the city from the Russian occupation.

As noted, by order of the head of the Military Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, active military intelligence units are already interacting with the Armed Forces and have begun to carry out combat missions.

In particular, they focused on counter-sabotage work and the elimination of enemy groups that managed to infiltrate Pokrovsk.

As a reminder, fierce urban battles are ongoing in Pokrovsk : Russian troops, taking advantage of their numerical superiority, have infiltrated the city, but Ukrainian defenders continue to actively resist and destroy the enemy.

Earlier it became known that about 200 Russian occupiers had penetrated through Ukrainian positions to Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region – gun battles are ongoing in the city.
