“The sky is teeming with enemy drones”: Poroshenko handed over assistance to brigades in the Kharkiv direction
The fifth president and current People’s Deputy Petro Poroshenko handed over another batch of drones and equipment to brigades in the Kharkiv direction.
According to him, this is the 141st trip to the front since the start of the full-scale invasion.
“The sky here is teeming with enemy drones. The occupier uses reconnaissance and strike drones every day and in large numbers. The fighting is intense, and it is extremely difficult for the Ukrainian military. But our boys and girls are standing strong, holding back the enemy,” the fifth president said on social media.
This time, Poroshenko’s team is covering the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in FPV drones of various modifications, including fiber optics. They also brought quad bikes – both assault and evacuation, “Maviks”, “Starlinks”, “Vanilla Sugar” drone detectors, charging stations, and computer equipment.
“We brought drones for the 112th separate brigade of the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces, where our Maryana Nitsevich serves. We missed her very much – we have a reason to hug her. Finally, her brothers will also have new quads,” the people’s deputy noted.
Also, starting today, the Ai-Petri will be in the arsenal of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade. “This is where Yevhen Solodayev serves, whom we have known since the time he represented the army in the Honor Guard Battalion. So we are transferring the equipment into reliable hands,” Poroshenko wrote.
The 53rd separate mechanized brigade and the combined rifle brigade of the Air Force were given dozens of fiber-optic FPVs and Mavics.
“Something interesting was brought for the 3rd separate tank brigade — a mobile command and staff complex. This is an improved version based on a trailer,” the fifth president assured.
The 3rd Tank Division also brought ATVs – because speed and mobility are needed at the front.
Poroshenko’s team also visited the 93rd mechanized brigade “Kholodny Yar”, where Marusya Zvirobiy is fighting. Equipment and drones were also transferred to the 10th brigade “Edelweiss”, where Stepan Barna is fighting, as well as the 77th, 81st airmobile, 5th assault and 19th army corps.
In total, this time the military in the Kharkiv region received assistance worth UAH 40 million.
“Our task for today has been accomplished, but only for today. We gave the equipment to the military, hugged, talked — and off we went. Back to work tomorrow,” Poroshenko emphasized.
