The Slovak Foreign Ministry suggested forgetting “everything that happened” and forgiving Russia

The Slovak Foreign Minister said that resolving Russia’s war against Ukraine requires improving communication and admitted that the West must “forgive” Russia.
He stated this during the STVR broadcast.
Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar stated that the conflict between Ukraine and Russia cannot have a military solution, but must be resolved through diplomatic means and compliance with international law.
He called for a return to compliance with international law and to seek ways of communication with the Russian Federation.
The head of the Slovak Foreign Ministry also stated that the West must find a way to cooperate with Russia.
“Or maybe even forgive everything that happened,” added Blanar.
Recall, the day before, Hungary and Slovakia blocked the adoption of the new 18th package of sanctions by the European Union against Russia.
As previously reported, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that his country would block any European Union sanctions against Russia if they threatened national interests .
