The telethon received another UAH 109 million at the end of the year

The telethon “United News #UAtogether” received additional funding from the budget at the end of the year – 109 million hryvnias.

This is reported by the publication “Nashi Groshi” with reference to the Prozorro system.

On December 16, the state-owned enterprise “Multimedia Platform for Foreign Broadcasting of Ukraine” signed four new agreements with TV channels to produce content for the marathon until the end of the year.

Back in March, these same channels received contracts for 2025 worth 738 million hryvnias. Now they have additionally ordered services for November and December 2024 for 109 million hryvnias.

The cost of each new contract ranges from 24 to 29 million hryvnias. The amount of paid content varies, so the price of one hour of broadcasting is not the same for different channels.

Taking into account these contracts, the total cost of content production for the telethon in 2024 increased to 847 million hryvnias.

The publication also estimated that, along with the costs of another state telethon, Freedom has already paid content producers for both projects 2.7 billion hryvnias.

It was previously reported that the adopted State Budget for 2026 is a tool for “a frankly cynical and corrupt waste of public funds,” which will go to the production of TV series and content for media groups associated, in particular, with the “Mindich-Yermak clan.”

Recall that the European Solidarity faction initiated changes to the State Budget for 2026, and Bill 14311 was also signed by representatives of other factions.
