The threat of a breakthrough is growing in the Kharkiv region: the occupiers are attacking a new section of the border

Russian troops are trying to expand the zone of offensive operations in the South Slobozhansk direction. After significant losses during previous assaults, the occupiers have begun attacking new areas near the state border, but Ukrainian border guards say they are detecting and destroying the enemy on the approaches.

This was reported by the “Gart” border brigade.

According to military sources, Russian units have now intensified their attempts to break through near the village of Artilne in the Kharkiv region. To do this, the occupiers are using small infantry groups that are trying to infiltrate Ukrainian territory unnoticed.

“After suffering heavy losses during assault operations in recent weeks, they have now begun attempts to break through in new areas,” the border guards noted.

The brigade emphasized that the Ukrainian military is constantly monitoring the situation in this direction. According to them, the movement of Russian forces is recorded by reconnaissance means, after which they strike at the enemy’s manpower and equipment.

“Border guards record enemy movements and destroy their personnel and equipment – both on Ukrainian territory and in the enemy rear, even at the beginning of the advance of enemy forces in our direction,” the “Gart” brigade reported.
