The administration of US President Donald Trump has stated that it will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine.
This was stated by the deputy spokesperson for the US State Department, Mignon Houston, as quoted on the Postimees TV channel.
“This administration seeks a lasting, strong, sustainable peace in the region. We want to continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine,” she said.
The official added that Ukraine is proposing a complete ceasefire that would stop Russian attacks on civilians and critical infrastructure.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that Russia has 10 days to reach an agreement on the war in Ukraine , and if it refuses, Washington will impose new economic restrictions.
