The Ukrainian Armed Forces denied Russia’s advance in the Kharkiv region: positions are being held.

Reports of Russian troops allegedly advancing into Vovchansk and Sinkovka in the Kharkiv region are untrue. Ukrainian troops continue to hold their positions.

The Joint Forces Group reported this on Telegram .

According to military data, in the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked in the direction of Staritsa, Volchanskie Khutors, Zybinoe and Okhrimovka, but the assault groups of the occupiers were destroyed.

In Vovchansk, the enemy continues to try to break through the defenses, but Ukrainian defenders are in control of the situation and holding their positions.

The military emphasized that claims of Russian advancement in Volchansk and Sinykovka are false.

No significant changes have been recorded in the Velykoburluk direction; the enemy is accumulating forces for a possible resumption of the offensive.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops unsuccessfully attempted to break through the defense in the directions of Borovskaya Andreevka, Kupyansk , Novoplatonovka and Kovsharovka.

In the Liman direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled assaults in the areas of Sredny, Stavki, Sheykovka and Dibrova.

In total, according to the Ukrainian Defense Forces , 13 enemy attacks were neutralized. Ukrainian units continue to destroy occupying forces, holding back their advance.
