In recent days, Russian troops have advanced near Hulyai-Polye in Zaporizhia, forcing Ukrainian units to temporarily retreat. However, the situation is now completely under control—the occupying forces’ advance has been halted.

The Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine reported this on Telegram.

The command noted that the 33rd separate assault regiment of the Ground Forces, together with adjacent assault and mechanized units, successfully held back further enemy pressure on the approaches to Gulyaipole.

“The front has been stabilized,” the Southern Defense Forces emphasized.

Ukrainian troops continue to hold their positions and prevent the enemy from developing an offensive in this direction.

As previously reported, Russian troops are intensifying their offensive in the Huliaipole area in the Zaporizhia region and Velykymykhaylivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The occupiers are taking advantage of the impact of strikes on Ukrainian logistics and the hampered operations of Ukrainian drones due to poor weather.

Let us recall that the situation on the front in the Zaporizhzhia region is the most difficult since the full-scale invasion: Russian infidels are attempting to advance in the Orekhiv and Hulyai-Polye directions.
