The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck Russian drilling platforms in the Caspian Sea.
Ukrainian defense forces attacked two Russian drilling platforms on the Caspian Sea shelf.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
According to the military, the ice-resistant stationary platform LSP-2 at the V. Graifer field, as well as the LSP-1 platform at the Yuri Korchagin field, were damaged.
The General Staff clarified that these facilities are located in the northern Caspian Sea, approximately one thousand kilometers from the line of combat engagement.
It is noted that the drilling rigs were used to supply the Russian army with fuel and lubricants, making them important elements of the enemy’s logistics infrastructure.
